Join us to discuss this engaging and easy-to-read book that shares stories of other’s estate planning and philanthropy that may spark some ideas for your own planned giving. 

We are so fortunate to have the author, Carol Weisman, joining us for our discussion! 

Carol is the founder of Board Builders, has served on over 40 boards, and is the author of 11 books.  She is also an internationally-known speaker that motivates board members, staff and the clients of wealth management firms about fundraising and philanthropy.  In addition, Carol has done stand up comedy and is an aspiring tap dancer! 

This book is perfect for each one of us as we decide how to grant money for SOS and in writing our own personal philanthropic story. 

For SOS, Carol is giving away her book to anyone interested.  It can be picked up from the porch of 3 different homes around town:

Directions: Kingshighway to Maryland Avenue and head east. The entrance to the private residences is across the street from Straub‘s. The Savoy room is on the second floor.

Parking: There is street parking and valet services available.  One can also park in the garage.

A box lunch from Panera’s will be provided.  

Cost is $10.
