To ensure the same signature you just set on your desktop displays (when possible) when you send emails from your Gmail on your phone, please do the following.

By managing the mobile settings carefully (or leaving them blank), you ensure your web-based desktop signature is the primary one, with mobile handling it gracefully (or with a simple text fallback)

For Android:
Open the Gmail app

  • Menu (☰)
  • Settings
  • [Your Account]
  • Mobile signature > turn it OFF, or keep it blank/simple text, as it doesn't support complex HTML.

For iPhone/iPad

Open the Gmail app

  • Menu (☰)
  • Settings
  • [Your Account]
  • Signature settings (under General)
  • turn Mobile Signature OFF, or set a simple text one; on iOS, it might pull desktop HTML if nothing is set.
