Each year Welcome Neighbor throws an end of year party, The Winter Party, for the refugee and immigrant families with whom they work.

This fun event celebrates the families and children with gifts, prizes, games, arts and crafts, and entertainment! They are anticipating 350+ guests of refugee/immigrant families along with their family partners and/or ESL tutors. Learn more.

SOS members would be providing homemade, seasonal cookies! (YES, THEY WANT HOMEMADE OR PURCHASED!)

Please steer away from specific Christmas or holiday-themed cookies and lean into a winter theme to be sensitive to the International families served.

TO DELIVER:

Put your finished cookies in a plastic “Tupperware” type container that WN will keep. Label your cookies with “Contains nuts” or "Gluten Free”.

Please drop off your donations into the plastic bin at one of the three delivery homes below during one of the two time periods available.

  • Nancy Garvey ~ 560 Purdue Avenue, University City
  • Marianne Baer ~ 886 Victoria Place,   Glendale
  • Nina Needleman ~ 846 Hollyridge Dr,  Ballwin

DECEMBER 7, 9-Noon

DECEMBER 8, Noon-8pm

SOS will deliver accumulated cookies to the church in time for the event on December 9th.

To participate, register here to make at least a dozen cookies for their dessert that night.
