· Eye Care Charity of Mid-America: $20,000
Make free eye-care services available to 200 low-income children in Ferguson during the 2017-2018 school year
Help families experiencing poverty and toxic stress by providing them with basic household furnishings
Add 100 underperforming students and their families to a program of home visits by classroom teachers
· Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project: $20,000
Help low-income immigrants overcome barriers to justice by providing them with low-cost legal services
Increase the number of disadvantaged young people receiving free piano lessons during the 2017-18 school year
· St. Louis Internship Program: $20,000
Support college and career planning for low-income high school students preparing for paid summer internships
· St. Louis Story Stitchers: $8,360
Help bring a play about gun violence performed by teen and young adult actors to schools in high-crime areas
Enlarge a network of urban farms that grow food and provide it to people living in “food deserts” in St. Louis
· Volunteers in Medicine: $20,000
Buy prescription medicines for low-income adult residents of St. Charles not covered by health insurance
