Letters of Inquiry

The Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund (SOS) strengthens the Greater St. Louis community through informed, focused grant-making by educating and inspiring women to engage in significant giving.

Letters of Inquiry will be accepted September 1, 2017 - September 29, 2017 for the current grant cycle.

Please carefully review the Grant Eligibility Guidelines.  If the SOS interest areas and funding preferences are compatible with the needs of your nonprofit organization, you are invited to submit a Letter of Inquiry.

Letters of Inquiry are evaluated by SOS membership to determine whether the organization’s mission and proposed project fit within SOS eligibility guidelines. Other factors evaluated include the proposed project’s feasibility and sustainability, as well as the organization’s ability to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain the project.

To submit a Letter of Inquiry for the first time, you must Register Your Organization. Once approved (within a week) you will receive an email with a username and password which will enable you to login your organization and upload your Letter of Inquiry.  If your organization has registered in the past, you only need to login, however, please UPDATE your Organizational Details information by selecting "Modify Account" to reflect new project information.
